Rebate

Eligible business owners can access a Rebate of up to $3,500 towards the installation cost of a Solar PV System.

Eligibility Criteria

Victorian households are eligible to receive the rebate if they meet the following criteria:

• They are the owner of a business that employs at least one person, not including the business owner, and less than 50 full time equivalent (FTE) employees.

• Business operate from premises that are non-residential & individually metered.

• They have not previously received a Solar for Business rebate.

• The property address has not already received a solar battery rebate or a solar PV rebate.

• Install a solar system with an inverter capacity size up to 30kW, and detailed on the Solar Victoria approved product list.

• The system must be purchased from an authorised solar provider, like Sun Station, and products must be on the approved products list.

Interest Free Loan

To further reduce the upfront cost of installing Solar, the Solar for Business offers the option of an interest free loan:

• offered start from $1,000 up to a maximum amount of $5,000

• required to be repaid over 1 or 2 years or can be repaid sooner in one lump sum.

 

The benefit of the interest free loan is that you can pay back the loan  using the significant savings achieved by reducing power bills.
